Dr. Eng. Mohamed Samir Kamal El Din

Lonetex and Delta industries was established in 1967 by Prof. Dr. Eng.
Mohamed Samir Kamal El Din.
 

 

  • Date of Birth 27 Feb. 1945.

  • Bachelor degree textile engineering (first/excellent) 1967.

  • Assistant textile department college of applied arts Helwan University.

  • Master degree in textiles 1974.

  • Lecturer, textile department (June 1975).

  • P.H.D in applied Arts (knitting).

  • Scientific Assignment (institute of science and technology Manchester-England) Oct. 1983-Oct. 1985.

  • Fellow of institute of science and technology-Manchester University, England since 1985.

  • Assistant professor in textile department (July 1989).

  • Professor in textile department (October 1995).

  • Member of Engineers Syndicate.

  • Member of the syndicate of Applied Arts designers.

  • Fellow of the textile institute Manchester-England.

  • Member of the outerwear knitting association New York (U.S.A

  4. Establishing the group of Lonetex Factories for knitwear and ready made garments for export 1981.
  5. Establishing the group of Delta Industries for knitted fabrics - dyeing, printing & finishing of knitted outer & underwear 1990.

Scientific Contribution:
  1. Supervising many scientific thesis for masters and P.H.D degree at Helwan University.
  2. Supervising some scientific thesis for P.H.D degree through the chanel system between Manchester University and Helwan University.
